Key Responsibilities:- Wiring and Assembly: Plan and perform intricate wiring on cable, connectors, electrical penetrators, junction boxes, and similar equipment.
- Reading and Understanding Schematics: Read and understand schematic wiring diagrams and process sheets and blueprints.
- Electrical Instrumentation: Use simple electrical instruments to make polarity determinations.
- Assembly and Quality Control: Assemble equipment from detailed written or verbal instructions and ensure quality control measures are met.
- Communication and Documentation: Record data, write clearly and informatively, and read and interpret written information.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2-4 years of cable assembly experience.
- Skills: Ability to apply common sense, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, read and interpret documents, and use basic high school math skills.
- Factory Environment: Work in a factory environment with good coordination and flexibility in both hands.
- Physical Demands: Move and occasionally lift up to 50lbs or more.
- Good Vision: Good vision including passing color blindness test.
- Safety Glasses: Use of safety glasses.
- Steel Protective Shoes: Use of steel protective shoes or protective shoe covers.
- ERP and Time Clock System Overview: Training on ERP and time clock system.
- Teledyne Ethics and Harassment Training: Training on Teledyne ethics and harassment.
- Hazardous Communications: Training on hazardous communications.
- Quality Systems: Training on quality systems.
