Position Overview:
As a Surgical Technologist specializing in maternal and infant care, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care at UCHealth.

Location: UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies Main Hospital, Loveland, CO

Department: MCR Women's Care

Employment Type: PRN, 0.0 FTE, 0.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks)

Shift: Nights

Compensation: $38.70 per hour, commensurate with relevant experience.

Essential Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED or Military training.
  • State registration as a Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist.
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid through sixty days of hire.

  • Mentor and guide new healthcare professionals and staff.

  • Ensure safety and quality at the point of care.
Specialization in Women's Care and Infants:
  • Direct care units encompass Mother/Baby, Labor and Delivery - Birth Center, Women's Care, and NICU.
  • Follow AWHONN's and AACN's practice standards and certifications, including RNC-OB, C-EFM, NRP, and CCRN, to guide evidence-based care models.
