As a Surgical Technologist at UCHealth, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient performance of surgical procedures. Your expertise will be essential in preparing the operating suite, ensuring equipment and instruments are in good working order, and passing instruments to physicians during surgery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating suite with drapes, solutions, instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Ensure good working order of equipment and instruments.
  • Pass instruments to physicians during surgery.
  • Continually account for the number and location of instruments and supplies during surgery.
  • Exercise critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements
  • State Surgical Assistant or Surgical Technologist registration.
  • ~6 months Surgical Tech experience or graduate of an accredited Surgical Tech program.
