Position Overview: As a Logistics Management Specialist, you will engage in a variety of intricate responsibilities aimed at enhancing the efficiency of organizational frameworks and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the acquisition of administrative and program-related supplies, equipment, and services through government procurement channels.
  • Assist the logistics and facilities team in analyzing all facility services, contracts, and logistical programs by documenting annual budget needs and identifying unfunded requirements.
  • Monitor workplace health and safety risks, providing semiannual training to employees on risk mitigation strategies.

Requirements:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must meet federal employment suitability standards.
  • Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
  • Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
  • Obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test is required.
  • Acknowledge acceptance of an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service).

Qualifications:

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level in federal service or comparable experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience should include:

  • Advising on complex issues related to performance-based life cycle product support planning and management strategies.
  • Planning and overseeing sustainment and support activities to maintain operational readiness of assigned projects.
  • Coordinating with senior leadership to facilitate logistics and mission support responsibilities.
