Job Summary

Bristol Bay Shared Services is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for managing the movement and distribution of goods and materials to ensure timely delivery to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement logistics plans and procedures to optimize the movement of goods and materials
  • Monitor transportation schedules to ensure on-time delivery of goods and materials
  • Manage logistics data, including transportation costs, shipping schedules, and delivery times
  • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to coordinate the movement of goods and materials
  • Identify and resolve logistics problems to ensure timely delivery of goods and materials
  • Evaluate logistics performance to identify areas for improvement
  • Communicate logistics information to customers and internal stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain relationships with transportation providers, customers, and other stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines
Requirements
  • 3+ years of prior experience working in a related field
  • Proficient with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Reliable and diligent worker
