Job Summary

The Library of Congress seeks a highly skilled Logistics Management Specialist to join its team. As a key member of the Logistics Services Division, you will be responsible for managing asset tracking, overseeing excess personal property disposal, and supervising the Transportation Services Unit.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage asset tracking and inventory control systems to ensure accurate and efficient tracking of assets.
  • Oversee the disposal of excess personal property and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Supervise the Transportation Services Unit to ensure the Library's diverse vehicle fleet remains available to support the Library's mission.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement logistics strategies that meet the Library's needs.
