Logistics Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Manager to support our country's defense efforts. As a key member of our team, you will utilize your logistics, warehousing, distribution, armory, management, and organizational skills to assist all DIA locations and elements worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supply chain management, with experience in managing and supervising operations of the scope and complexity of a Department of Defense Supply Activity or other equivalent Warehousing Facility.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and inspecting all incoming property, supplies, and equipment
  • Preparing receiving reports and maintaining receipt of goods by customers and Reports of Discrepancy as required
  • Developing catalog records for newly received property, supplies, and equipment
  • Performing all functions required within an inventory control system to include but not limited to requisition receipt processing, issuing, and storage of supplies, materials, and equipment
  • Assisting the Government in managing a facility for the receipt, issuance, storage, and accountability of property and equipment
  • Preparing appropriate documentation for issuance of supplies and equipment
  • Properly accounting for all property, supplies, and equipment
  • Preparing for shipment, supplies, and equipment, to include preparation of appropriate paperwork and accounting documents as required

The Logistics Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective management of our warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping supplies and equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with experience in managing and supervising operations of the scope and complexity of a Department of Defense Supply Activity or other equivalent Warehousing Facility.
