Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant II to join our team at Providence Medical Foundation. As a Medical Assistant II, you will work under the delegation of a licensed practitioner to provide patient care and support to assigned patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform clinical duties as directed by a licensed practitioner, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with procedures.
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments, answering phones, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and communication.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • 6 months Healthcare experience.
  • 6 months Medical Assistant experience.
  • Preferred qualifications: Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program with an externship or has completed medical training in the United States Armed Forces or has worked as a Medical Assistant in a clinic environment for at least six months.
