Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant I to join our team at Open Door Community Health Centers. As a Medical Assistant I, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality patient care and support services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
  • Assist healthcare providers with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
  • Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, and test results.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and confidential patient records.
  • Perform various administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
  • State or national certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
