About the Role:
Kent is seeking a Commissioning Lead to oversee operations across various project sites. Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and manage multi-disciplinary teams of Commissioning Technicians, Vendors, and subcontractors, typically comprising up to 100 personnel.
  • Collaborate with Project Engineers, Construction Management Teams, and Operations personnel.
  • Oversee the execution of all Systems Completion activities within the designated plant areas.
  • Lead efforts within the Integrated Systems Completion Team, working closely with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and expertise in Systems Completion to the commissioning team and at Engineering and Construction interfaces.
  • Identify and resolve commissioning challenges during the Commissioning phase.
  • Ensure successful outcomes of static and dynamic commissioning, including Factory Acceptance Tests.
  • Function as a working lead as required by project demands.
  • Ensure systems are mechanically completed at Turnover, fully commissioned at Handover, and ready for operation.
  • Ensure compliance with project standards, plans, and procedures.
  • Support the development of Commissioning Management Procedures and contribute to Start-up and Operating Procedures.
  • Ensure comprehensive completion of Systems MC, Turnover, Commissioning, and Handover documentation.
  • Collaborate with Safety Advisors to maintain a safe and environmentally sound work area.

In addition to the responsibilities outlined, the employee may be required to undertake other tasks as directed by management, within the scope of their skills and capabilities. This flexibility is essential to meet the evolving needs of the organization.

Your Qualifications:
  • A college/university degree or technical diploma, along with 15+ years of experience in Project Completion and Operations.
  • Proven leadership experience in Mechanical Completion, Commissioning, Start-Up, and initial plant Operations.
  • Strong technical skills and sound judgment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Project Completion standards, specifications, and safety criteria.
  • In-depth understanding of Project execution, Engineering, Construction, and Commissioning practices.
  • Proficient in work planning, scheduling, and tracking.
  • Strong work ethic with a focus on delivery and organization.
  • Familiarity with Oil Company practices regarding Systems Completion and Commissioning operations.

Communication Skills:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking fluent English to effectively collaborate within project teams and communicate with stakeholders.
