Exciting Opportunity Ahead: A Strategic Leadership Role

Based in a dynamic environment and reporting to the dedicated portfolio managers, the Director will oversee all strategic, transactional, and operational aspects for a designated portfolio of primarily office and industrial properties across the nation.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Develop tailored strategic plans for each property based on its unique needs, including valuations, cash flow forecasts, and the review and approval of annual operating and capital budgets.
  • Establish, refine, and implement redevelopment, leasing, and sales strategies while managing relationships with regional partners and third-party service providers, including property management.
  • Proactively assess and respond to evolving market conditions.
  • Supervise the budgeting process for all properties under management.
  • Collaborate closely with leasing teams, regional partners, and external contractors to structure, negotiate, review, and finalize leases within the asset portfolio.
  • Monitor the overall performance of assigned properties against established plans and budgets.
  • Anticipate cash flow requirements for properties and investors, oversee cash management, and manage all disbursements.
  • Deliver high-quality reporting to lenders and investors.
  • Support the execution of acquisitions, financing, and refinancing activities as necessary.
  • Keep senior management, clients, and investors informed about evolving strategies and performance outcomes.
  • Provide strategic, investment, and analytical guidance to regional partners, third-party service providers, and internal personnel in the development and execution of asset and portfolio strategies.

Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of seven to ten years of proven success in managing a diverse portfolio of complex commercial real estate, including office, industrial, multifamily, and medical office properties. Experience in asset and portfolio reporting is highly desirable.

Successful candidates should demonstrate the following qualifications and characteristics:

  • A solid track record of leadership and success, showcasing a hands-on approach to operations, leasing, development, capital markets, financing, marketing, investment, and ownership issues in managing challenging, value-add real estate.
  • Ability to positively influence factors that contribute to achieving ambitious investment and return performance goals.
  • Demonstrated experience in creating value throughout all phases of a property's lifecycle, from acquisition to disposition.
  • Strong aptitude for reviewing and interpreting complex financial statements, leases, and loan documents.
  • Proficient in managing and mentoring less experienced analysts and associates to enhance productivity.
  • Effectively manage and hold regional partner relationships accountable at both development and operational levels.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.
  • A collaborative team player thriving in a professional environment characterized by empowered decision-making and a flat organizational structure.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and ARGUS.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve differences constructively.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication abilities.
  • Unquestionable integrity and a strong work ethic.
  • A bachelor's degree is required.
