Job Title: Digital Press Operator

Quad is seeking a skilled Digital Press Operator to join our team in New Berlin. As a Digital Press Operator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality printed sheets, boards, or rolls using our state-of-the-art digital presses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and troubleshoot multiple digital presses, including HP Turbojet, EFI/Vutek, and Inca Onset devices.
  • Accurately interpret and document diagnostic feedback from equipment to resolve production, maintenance, and repair issues.
  • Perform color matching of supplied materials and read job tickets to complete necessary paperwork.
  • Communicate effectively with electronic prepress, press operators, customer service, vendors, equipment technicians, and customers.
  • Clean and maintain the work area, adhering to safety and quality standards.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to differentiate between colors and pass a color test.
  • Experience with computer software applications in a prepress environment and digital color control is a plus.
  • Solid organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and quality-oriented, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
