Job Summary

Seeking a skilled CMM Operator to lead and direct shift on quality concerns and duties. The ideal candidate will have experience with CMM equipment and a background in quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct shift on quality concerns and duties
  • Oversee quality of product produced
  • Conduct first part inspection if quality tech is unavailable
  • Train new employees on job functions and coach employees to manage work properly
  • Provide proper documentation to operators for scheduled jobs
  • Enforce company rules and regulations
  • Demonstrate and ensure health and safety policies are adhered to
  • Attend pre and post shift planning meetings
  • Troubleshoot problems when necessary
  • Consult higher authority in case of unsolvable problems or emergencies

Requirements:

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of mills, presses, and equipment
  • Basic computer skills and ability to read blueprints and schematics
  • Good written and oral communication skills
