POSITION SUMMARY:

The Irrigation Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth within the branch by assisting in bid preparation, sales support, and the training of Irrigation Technicians.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience:

  • 5-7 years of experience in commercial irrigation
  • 3 years of experience in customer service, management, or leadership within the landscaping sector or local market is preferred

Licenses or Certifications:

  • As mandated by state and federal regulations
  • Valid driver's license from the state of employment

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in building relationships and providing exceptional internal customer service
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively
  • Capable of diagnosing and resolving a range of irrigation issues
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to analyze problems, gather relevant data, and draw logical conclusions
  • Competent in interpreting various forms of instructions
  • Fluent in English, with bilingual proficiency in Spanish preferred

  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Business Development Managers to prepare accurate bids for complex irrigation services
  • Conduct site walkthroughs with clients and company representatives
  • Monitor ongoing projects to ensure estimates align with actual conditions
  • Perform quality audits on completed irrigation projects
  • Develop and implement training programs for Irrigation Technicians
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed on all job sites
  • Promote water conservation initiatives and conduct water audits
  • Encourage adherence to company policies and best practices
  • Oversee the performance and development of Irrigation Technicians as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
