Job Title: Physical Therapist

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our team at North Texas Orthopedics and Spine Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to develop personalized treatment plans that address their unique needs and goals.
  • Rehabilitation Strategies: Design and implement rehabilitation strategies to improve patients' strength, range of motion, balance, and endurance.
  • Documentation and Progress Monitoring: Accurately document patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on proper techniques and exercises to promote optimal recovery and prevent future injuries.
  • Equipment and Device Management: Evaluate and recommend the use of assistive devices, such as crutches, prosthetics, and wheelchairs, to enhance patients' mobility and independence.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants and technicians to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Continuing Education: Stay up-to-date with the latest research, techniques, and best practices in physical therapy to provide evidence-based care.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in physical therapy from an accredited program; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a physical therapist, preferably in an orthopedic setting.
  • Licensure and Certification: Current state physical therapist license and CPR certification.
