The successful candidate will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist, assisting in the delivery of rehabilitation treatments and procedures for patients with orthopedic and neurological conditions. This position emphasizes collaboration with referring providers and fostering community relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in executing treatment plans as outlined by the supervising physical therapist.
- Administer therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery.
- Track and document patient progress throughout therapy sessions.
- Educate patients on the proper use of therapeutic equipment and exercises.
- Work closely with the physical therapy team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain a tidy and organized treatment environment.
Experience Requirements
Preferred experience in an outpatient orthopedic and/or neurological clinic setting.
