Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Connecticut Spring & Stamping. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products by performing routine checks, tests, and inspections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct Quality Inspections: Perform routine checks and tests on products in process or finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
  • Identify and Report Defects: Inspect products visually for obvious defects and notify supervisors when inspection data exceeds acceptable limits or when incidents of poor quality are noted.
  • Record Quality Results: Record quality results on inspection forms and maintain charts of inspection data, quality levels, or quality studies.
  • Make Recommendations: Make recommendations on disposition of questionable products to supervisors.
  • Perform Capability Studies: Conduct capability studies to determine the quality of products.
Requirements
  • Education: High school or technical school education, or equivalent, with a mathematics emphasis.
  • Experience: Experience with operating gauges and testing equipment.
  • Analytical Skills: Analytical capabilities to interpret detailed and complex drawings.
Physical Requirements
  • Visual Ability: Visual ability (corrected) to read directions and prints and to inspect parts closely to ensure that they meet specifications.
  • Manual Dexterity: Manual dexterity sufficient to operate inspection machinery for precision work.
  • Physical Ability: Physical ability to do work requiring frequent stooping and bending.
