Job Summary

**Job Title:** Quality Control Inspector

**Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Connecticut Spring & Stamping. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections and ensuring accurate documentation for shipment of designated parts.

Key Responsibilities
  • **Inspect and Verify:** Verify the correctness of all documentation for shipment, including inspection reports and certification.
  • **Collaborate with Colleagues:** Collaborate with external inspectors and internal teams as needed to ensure seamless inspection processes.
  • **Visual Inspection:** Visually inspect parts for defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • **GD&T Expertise:** Utilize GD&T skills to inspect and measure parts accurately.
  • **Over-Inspection:** Perform over-inspection to validate Final Inspection results and ensure quality standards are met.
  • **Quality Issue Reporting:** Report quality issues to the Quality Assurance Supervisor in a timely and accurate manner.
  • **Documentation:** Record inspection results on required forms and maintain accurate records.
  • **Product Disposition:** Make recommendations on product disposition based on inspection results.
  • **Certifications:** Obtain necessary source inspection certifications and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards.
  • **Aerospace Requirements:** Possess knowledge of Aerospace Requirements, including AS9100 and AS9102.
Additional Responsibilities
  • **Company Policies:** Adhere to company policies, safety, and environmental standards at all times.
  • **Process Improvement:** Provide recommendations for process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
  • **Other Duties:** Perform other duties as required to support the team and achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • **Education:** High school or technical education with a focus on mathematics.
  • **Experience:** Experience with gauges and testing equipment, as well as analyzing complex drawings.
  • **Physical Requirements:** Visual ability for reading instructions and inspecting parts, manual dexterity for operating machinery, and physical ability for stooping, bending, and lifting up to 35lbs.
