Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled RN Operations Coordinator to join our team at Ochsner Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for coordinating clinical operations on the unit, communicating critical issues to appropriate parties, and managing and developing employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Use the nursing process effectively in the delivery of patient care.
  • Coordinate clinical operations on the unit.
  • Communicate critical issues to appropriate parties.
  • Manage and develop employees.
  • Effectively manage resources.

Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse diploma.
  • 2 years relevant experience working in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
  • Current RN License in the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.

Work Environment:

This job assumes accountability for patient plans of care; provides and manages care to individuals and cohorts of patients within a unit; designs, implements and evaluates nursing interventions by coordinating, delegating and supervising the care provided by the healthcare team, including licensed nurses, patient care technicians and other health professionals; and facilitates effective and efficient discharge planning.
