Position: Special Education Teacher (ELA)

Employment Type: Full Time

Compensation: $57,396 - $90,424, based on experience

Additional Benefits:

  • Relocation assistance ranging from $2,500 to $10,000 for candidates relocating from outside the region

Key Responsibilities:

As an educator at our school, your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing anti-racist instructional strategies that empower students in their learning.
  • Delivering grade-level rigorous content using high-quality, research-based curricula.
  • Providing targeted interventions for students requiring additional support.
  • Collaborating with a co-teaching team of two to three educators in the classroom.
  • Engaging families as partners in the educational process, discussing successes and challenges.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by the Principal.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in middle or high school teaching.
  • Required educator license from the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education in the appropriate content area.
  • Preferred experience as an advocate for equity and anti-racism.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree is required.
