Job Summary

This role is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the facility/company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial analysis, with experience working with enterprise resource programs, specifically SAP. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, managing a team, and providing analysis and insight to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 1-5 employees, providing guidance and support to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Oversee the preparation and review of all standard month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Work closely with the corporate SAP team to validate system data and ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Review and approve accounts payable within approved limits, providing corrective feedback as necessary.
  • Participate in audits, including financial and inventory audits, by collecting required documentation and performing physical counts.
  • Prepare corporate entity annual budgets and periodic forecasts, and provide ongoing monthly and year-to-date budget analysis for management review.
  • Provide analysis and insight from an accounting perspective during regularly scheduled reviews of actuals and budget, identifying potential root causes and making recommendations for corrective action.
  • Prepare routine and specialized reports for management use in analyzing efficiencies and profitability.
  • Support the internal tax compliance process by providing requested accounting schedules and documents.
Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in a related field, preferably with experience working with an enterprise resource program, specifically SAP.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • BA/BS or equivalent is preferred.
Work Environment

This role is typically performed within a business professional office environment, with standard office equipment available. The work conditions are typical of an office and plant environment. This role does not require any domestic travel. The position may require the physical agility of lifting up to 15 pounds and frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching/reaching, use of hands or fingers, talk, hear, feel objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
