Service Coordinator Job Description

Milton CAT is seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator to join our team. As a Service Coordinator, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of service requests, and supporting our service team in achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer customer inquiries and respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to schedule and assign work, ensuring efficient use of resources and minimizing downtime.
  • Process and update invoices, work orders, and other documentation as needed.
  • Order parts and materials for service shop and field service calls.
  • Assist with incremental repair quotes and timecard entries.
  • Pass on leads for work to other departments as needed.
  • Coordinate with the CSA Department to meet their needs.
  • Work flexible hours, including after-hours, to meet customer needs.
  • Maintain confidentiality of pricing, promotion, distribution, inventory, customer lists, and financial reports.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with college or trade school preferred.
  • Proficient in the use of a computer and related software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
