About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Membership Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our branch front desk, managing membership and program registrations, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee branch database management in line with Association policies and procedures.
  • Meet or exceed monthly membership sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Model and promote excellent customer service for members and guests, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise welcome center staff, ensuring effective operations and high-quality service delivery.
  • Manage financial transactions, including daily deposits and accounts receivable, with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Execute membership renewal processes and prepare membership reports, providing valuable insights for our team.
  • Maintain and update facility bulletin boards and member communication, ensuring timely and relevant information is shared.
  • Address member questions and complaints with a focus on resolution, providing exceptional service and support.
  • Implement member retention strategies and enhance the overall member experience, driving growth and satisfaction.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Two-year degree in a related field, such as business administration or customer service.
  • Two years of customer service or clerical experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional service.
  • Flexibility to take on different shifts, including early mornings and evening hours, with a willingness to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and relate effectively to diverse groups, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas and concepts clearly.
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities, with a proven track record of managing multiple priorities and leading teams.
  • Proficiency in general office practices and knowledge of MS Word and Excel, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • CPR and First-Aid certification required within 60 days of hire, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
