POSITION SUMMARY: The Account Manager plays a crucial role in nurturing and expanding both existing and new client relationships to achieve and surpass the company’s sales revenue and profit goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Exhibit, recruit, and mentor team members in alignment with our Core Behaviors

  • Supply the General Manager with market insights regarding trends, new products, and market share in current and prospective accounts
  • Proactively address client issues
  • Foster and maintain positive client relationships
  • Coordinate technical support as required
  • Support and enhance onsite sales and service efforts
  • Communicate client and market concerns to company leadership
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • Conduct all activities in accordance with ISO processes and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Extensive product knowledge
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in relevant computer software

SUPERVISORY ROLE:

  • No direct supervisory responsibilities; may provide indirect supervisory feedback.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • High School diploma is mandatory
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar role within Industrial Sales is required
  • Prior experience in sales or customer service is advantageous

CERTIFICATIONS:

  • No specific certifications required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Regularly required to communicate in English, stand, walk, sit, and handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must be capable of using computers and other equipment.
  • Frequently required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to focus clearly.

PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:

  • Eye protection, ear protection, and, as necessary, steel-toed shoes and head protection.
