Key Responsibilities- Order Processing: Process customer orders received through various channels, including phone, website, and electronic data interchange (EDI).
- Inventory Management: Review product availability and orders in our enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment.
- Customer Account Management: Create and manage customer accounts in our ERP system, ensuring seamless interactions and efficient order processing.
- Customer Inquiry Resolution: Respond to customer inquiries, update customer records as necessary, and provide timely resolutions to customer complaints.
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with our off-site warehouse team to ensure accurate shipping dates, freight charges, and order tracking.
- Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with domestic and international distributors, ensuring timely and efficient order fulfillment.
- Invoice Resolution: Collaborate with our Accounts Receivable and Import departments to resolve invoice inquiries and ensure accurate payment processing.
- Administrative Support: Provide general clerical support, including photocopying, faxing, scanning, filing, ordering office supplies, and managing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments.
- Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2+ years of customer service or account representative experience, with a preference for experience working with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft D365.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Advanced Excel and Word.
