Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of our company, clients, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:- Full-Cycle Accounts Payable Management: Manage full-cycle accounts payable using a 3-way match system, including handling vendor returns and scraps.
- Pricing and Quantity Discrepancies: Proactively identify and resolve pricing and quantity discrepancies, researching vendor invoices and processing necessary corrections.
- Vendor Statement Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements with precision, researching and correcting any discrepancies to maintain accurate records.
- Weekly and Monthly Disbursements: Oversee weekly and monthly disbursements, including checks, wires, and ACH, ensuring invoices are matched to payment slips and all required approvals are obtained.
- Audit Inquiries: Address and resolve audit inquiries related to the accounts payable department with professionalism and accuracy.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable or a related finance role, where your skills have made a tangible impact.
- Tech-Savvy Skills: Proficiency in leading accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, or NetSuite, paired with advanced Microsoft Excel know-how.
- Eagle-Eyed Attention to Detail: A talent for spotting discrepancies and ensuring flawless data entry and financial reconciliation.
- Problem-Solving Pro: A resourceful and independent thinker who can tackle challenges and streamline processes.
