Accounting Advisory Manager

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Accounting Advisory Manager to join their team. This role will be based in San Diego, CA.
- Salary: $100-$200K
- Collaborate with senior management to resolve complex accounting issues and develop proposed resolutions.
- Review work prepared by consultants on operational due diligence for complex transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, stock offerings, and IPOs.
- Review consultants' deliverables of financial and regulatory information in accordance with SEC and regulatory requirements, including 10Ks, 10Qs, S-1, and S-4 filings, as well as audit coordination.
- Conduct research and documentation projects related to new ASC accounting standards, such as ASC 842 and ASC 606.
- Lead process improvement projects and implement changes.
- Mentor and lead consultants, providing creative solutions to enhance their overall experience.
- Participate in the firm's recruiting efforts, client relationship building, and business development initiatives.
- Undergraduate degree in Accounting, or equivalent experience and certifications.
- 6-8 years of experience in public accounting and/or industry accounting/finance.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to assimilate easily into teams.
- Strong technical skills and a working knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting.
- Proactive in identifying client needs and effective in building strong relationships with clients.
- Highly organized and focused, with the ability to set overall engagement expectations and direction.
- Effective analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Entrepreneurial nature, self-motivated, ethical, and dependable.
- High energy with a commitment to quality client service, focusing on ensuring positive resolutions to conflicts.
