Senior Tax Accountant - Tax Advisory

AIG is seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our Tax Advisory team. As a Senior Tax Accountant, you will play a critical role in providing tax advisory services to our clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities for tax savings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tax advisory services to clients, including tax planning, tax compliance, and tax controversy resolution.
  • Conduct tax research and analysis to identify opportunities for tax savings and ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations.
  • Develop and implement tax strategies to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax benefits.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and legal, to ensure tax compliance and identify opportunities for tax savings.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations, and provide guidance to clients on tax implications.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience in tax advisory, tax compliance, or tax controversy resolution.
  • At least a basic degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, and a license as a Certified Public Accountant or equivalent.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex tax concepts to clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in tax software, including tax preparation and planning tools.
