Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Infrastructure Operations Network Engineer to join our team at Cole Engineering Services, Inc. This individual will be responsible for maintaining the technical infrastructure of our platform, ensuring continuity of operations, and fostering a relationship of trust with our customers and technical staff.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Linux system management, VMware NSX, and Kubernetes, as well as the ability to implement, operate, and maintain physical switches, routers, IPS, and IDS devices. They will also be able to analyze real-world problems and implement solutions according to corporate and government guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices.

Additional responsibilities include automating, collecting, processing, and presenting system performance and metric information, as well as balancing hybrid cloud distribution between private corporate infrastructure and public clouds.

We are looking for a self-starter who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse team of engineers with varying levels of experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, operate, and maintain physical switches, routers, IPS, and IDS devices
  • Implement, operate, and maintain a VMware NSX-based SDN
  • Understand Kubernetes and micro-service-based applications
  • Analyze real-world problems and implement solutions according to corporate and government guidelines, procedures, and industry best practices
  • Automate, collect, process, and present system performance and metric information
  • Balance hybrid cloud distribution between private corporate infrastructure and public clouds
Requirements
  • Associates or bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as computer science or information technology from an accredited college or university
  • Ten years of work experience preferred
  • Security+ Certification

Please note that this position requires U.S. Citizenship status and a Secret security clearance, with an ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Security Clearance requirement will be specified in the Government's Task Order.
