Network Infrastructure Specialist

As a Network Infrastructure Specialist at Carrier Enterprise, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure across all 225 locations. This role requires a deep understanding of Cisco Meraki equipment and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage data network infrastructure using Cisco Meraki equipment.
- Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, QoS, Wi-Fi Access Points, VM networks).
- Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hotfixes, and security configurations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other IT team members to develop and implement network solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of network configurations, changes, and procedures.
- Ensure network security through the implementation of appropriate measures and protocols.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in network engineering.
- Extensive experience with Cisco Meraki equipment and solutions.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, Meraki CMNA) are a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, and switching.
- Experience deploying and supporting DNS/DHCP services in an enterprise environment.
- Experience with network security practices and technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
