About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a seasoned Land Surveyor to take on a leadership role within our team. As a Senior Land Surveyor - Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of land surveying projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage survey field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions.
  • Prepare and submit project reports, including survey data, analysis, and recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure our team remains competitive and innovative.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of surveying experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Registered Land Surveyor license in Tennessee or ability to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon Magnet, and Bentley OpenRoads Designer & Geopak software.
  • Strong knowledge of trigonometry principles and their application in surveying.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
