Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage survey field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and construction, to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions.
- Prepare and submit project reports, including survey data, analysis, and recommendations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies to ensure our team remains competitive and innovative.
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of surveying experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Registered Land Surveyor license in Tennessee or ability to obtain one.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, Carlson, Topcon Magnet, and Bentley OpenRoads Designer & Geopak software.
- Strong knowledge of trigonometry principles and their application in surveying.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
