Position Overview:

The Custodial Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in managing the Government Contract operations, ensuring that all tasks are executed in alignment with the contractual obligations established between The Judge Group and the U.S. Government.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly oversee the day-to-day activities of custodial staff.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service through direct engagement with clients.
  • Maintain effective communication with various stakeholders, including clients and government representatives.
  • Stay informed on all policies and procedures relevant to The Judge Group and the specific contract requirements, promptly addressing any issues with management.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, including training and communication of safety protocols.
  • Support vendor relations by managing invoice accuracy, pricing, inventory levels, and scheduling.
  • Help monitor and update operational data, communicating relevant information to the appropriate staff.
  • Act as a backup for management during their absence.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills Required:

Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.

Experience: Previous supervisory experience is essential, with two to five years in custodial services preferred. Experience working with individuals with disabilities is highly desirable.

Licensure: A valid Virginia Driver's License is required, and candidates must be insurable under The Judge Group's auto insurance policy.

Skills and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of cleanliness and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • Capable of performing tasks accurately under time constraints.
  • Strong multitasking skills.
  • Patience and skill in training individuals requiring additional support.
  • Proficient in computer use for report writing and email communication.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Physically capable of assisting individuals in personal care or behavior management training.
Physical Requirements: The role necessitates some physical exertion, including prolonged standing, walking on uneven surfaces, and the ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds independently.

Work Environment: The position typically involves working indoors, with exposure to varying temperatures.
