Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement contract management strategies to ensure effective contract performance and compliance.
  2. Manage and oversee contract development, negotiation, and execution processes.
  3. Conduct regular contract reviews to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and departmental policies.
  4. Provide technical assistance and guidance to contractors on contract-related issues.
  5. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and resolve contract-related issues.
  6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with contractors, community stakeholders, and state and local agencies.
  7. Prepare and present reports on contract performance, compliance, and other related matters.

Requirements:
  • Thorough knowledge of contract development and management processes, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex contract-related issues.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high degree of initiative and judgment.
  • Knowledge of mental health programs, policies, and procedures, as well as state and federal legislation related to mental health services.

Working Conditions:
This is a temporary position through September, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. The successful candidate will work under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. The position requires regular attendance and adherence to agency leave policy.
