Job Title: Senior Contract Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Manager to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services. As a Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for performing advanced contract management work with a focus on fiscal contract monitoring and other contract management activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complex financial monitoring of government, educational, non-profit and/or for-profit entities contracted to administer various programs for the HHSC.
• Analyze and review contractor's management operations, internal control structures and systems, and accounting records for reliability, adequacy, accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with legal regulations.
• Develop and prepare administrative reports to executive management regarding required actions while assessing the degree of contractor compliance with established procedures, requirements, laws, and regulations.
• Provide consultation and technical assistance to contractors on contract issues and interpretation of policies and procedures related to contract monitoring.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of complex accounting systems, journals and source documentation required for compliance with contract language, state and federal regulations.
• Skill in project management with complex projects that cross agencies and several lines of business.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate and summarize management records for accuracy and conformance to procedures, rules, and regulations.

Working Conditions:

This position is eligible for telework from any location in Texas consistent with the HHS telework policy. Occasional travels for conference, meetings, trainings may be required.
