Job Summary

The Department of Information Resources is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contract Administrator to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for managing complex procurement projects, developing and implementing procurement-related processes, and interacting with business units and legal counsel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement-related processes and procedures
  • Manage procurement projects, including developing and issuing solicitations, managing vendor discussions, and awarding contracts
  • Interact with business units and legal counsel to ensure compliance with state procurement laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to procurement staff on procurement-related matters

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in business, public administration, accounting, management, or a related field
  • At least six years of experience in procurement, including experience in developing and implementing procurement-related processes and managing procurement projects
  • Certification as a Certified Texas Contract Developer (CTCD) and Certified Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) is required
