Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Behavior Specialist at UNIFI, you will:

  • Implement patient-specific programs as directed by the supervising clinician.
  • Adhere to behavior intervention plans, including safety protocols.
  • Gather data and complete necessary documentation and billing.
  • Administer medications to patients when required.
  • Participate actively in scheduled meetings and training sessions.
  • Work professionally and collaboratively with the entire UNIFI team.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with UNIFI and HIPAA standards.
  • Ensure patient safety and promote a positive work atmosphere.

Work Environment

You will work in various settings, including therapy clinics, patients' homes, schools, and community locations. Travel between therapy sessions is compensated by UNIFI, and mileage can be reimbursed. To minimize travel, you will be assigned to a specific area.


Requirements

Applicants must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional requirements include:

  • Satisfactory background check.
  • Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and active auto insurance.
  • CPR certification (covered by UNIFI).
  • Physical capability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, run, stoop, and sit on the floor.


Benefits

We offer competitive compensation starting at $19/hour for non-RBTs, with our team members enjoying an average total compensation package of $47,500 annually. Additional benefits include:

  • Performance-based quarterly bonus program.
  • Guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week for full-time Behavior Specialists.
  • Paid training and recertification opportunities.
  • A generous time-off package with 24 total days annually: 15 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) and 9 paid holidays.
