Clinical Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

The Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Director to lead our Outpatient Behavioral Health division. As a key member of our Clinical department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of clinical programs, ensuring high-quality services, and promoting a culture of excellence and equity.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of DESC's outpatient behavioral health activities and programs.
- Supervise senior managers and clinical staff, ensuring effective program implementation and high-quality services.
- Collaborate with other DESC departments to ensure seamless operations and integration of clinical services.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote equity and inclusion in clinical programs and services.
- Lead and manage clinical programs, including planning, budgeting, and evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in behavioral health services.
- Eligible for a Licensed Mental Health Professional credential.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in behavioral health services, including supervisory experience.
- Proven track record of leading and managing clinical programs.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles and practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
