Clinical Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

The Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Director to lead our Outpatient Behavioral Health team. As a key member of our Clinical department, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of clinical programs, services, and initiatives that promote the health and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to the Outpatient Behavioral Health team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and programs.
- Collaborate with other DESC departments to ensure seamless integration of clinical, medical, and housing/shelter programs.
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and agency standards.
- Supervise and mentor senior managers and clinical staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of the team.
- Develop and manage budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and fiscal responsibility.
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, stakeholders, and funders to promote DESC's mission and services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and research to inform program development and improvement.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in clinical leadership, program development, and management.
- Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and developing effective programs and services.
- Strong understanding of DEI principles and practices, with experience in implementing equity-focused initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
