Clinical Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health Services

The Clinical Director of Outpatient Behavioral Health will oversee the operations of DESC's outpatient behavioral health programs, ensuring high-quality services are provided to individuals with complex needs. This leadership position will report to the Senior Director of Clinical Programs and collaborate with the Director of Mobile Response.
Key Responsibilities- Provide oversight of outpatient behavioral health activities and assigned programs.
- Supervise Senior Managers and clinic managers, ensuring effective program implementation and staff development.
- Collaborate with other DESC departments to operate clinic sites and advance agency-wide healthcare integration priorities.
- Develop and implement training programs for clinical staff, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a working knowledge of contracts and compliance issues, data reporting, and financial models.
- Master's degree in social work, psychology, or a relevant behavioral science.
- Five or more years of experience providing services to chronically homeless adults, mental illness, substance abuse, and chronic health conditions.
- Five or more years of supervisory/management experience in a social service setting.
- Proven experience in planning and managing clinical programs.
- Demonstrated ability to drive project-related activities and communicate effectively with staff from diverse backgrounds.
