Job Summary

The University of Colorado Law School is seeking a highly skilled and organized Student Services Coordinator to support the Student Services department. This temporary, full-time position will play a crucial role in managing student organizations and programs, course enrollment and registration, exam administration, and other tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Certifications Management: Validate bar exam eligibility for attorney admission and manage certification requests from students and alumni, including bar certifications, character and fitness forms, student practice act certifications, letters of good standing, certificates of graduation, and certificates of enrollment.
  • Event Coordination and Communication: Assist students, staff, and faculty with planning student-facing events and programs, such as new student orientation, commencement, Wellness Week, ABA mandated trainings, and other events as needed.
  • Examination Support: Provide support during exam periods, including student crisis support, technical and logistical support, and general inquiries.
  • Student Support and Customer Service: Refer students experiencing high levels of stress to appropriate colleagues for support, manage a broad range of requests, and provide professional service to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • One year experience in or related to student services at an institute of higher education.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of database systems and data management.
