Account Growth Representative

Vasion is seeking motivated individuals eager to embark on or advance their journey in technology sales as a Business Development Representative (BDR). We are dedicated to nurturing sales talent and fostering a culture that promotes internal advancement. Our BDR program is meticulously crafted to prepare individuals for roles such as Account Executive and other sales positions.
Our top-performing BDRs are driven, enthusiastic about outbound sales and cold outreach, possess a strong entrepreneurial mindset, and are committed to continuous learning. In this role, you will engage with targeted accounts to assess and convert leads into viable sales opportunities. Leads are sourced from cold call lists targeting accounts that align with our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). BDRs will reach out to leads with the objective of qualifying them and generating sales opportunities for the Account Executives they collaborate with.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with management and colleagues to complete an intensive training program.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of company products and solutions while staying informed on industry trends through ongoing training.
- Work together with team members to create a strategic territory account plan that maximizes prospecting potential and drives sales activity.
- Act as the initial point of contact for leads and qualify them for demonstrations.
- Engage with target accounts and integrate leads into an outbound workflow.
- Conduct daily outbound calls/emails to Sales Accepted Leads (SAL) and follow up on assigned tasks.
- Leverage LinkedIn to prospect and cultivate a network within our target audience, while regularly sharing insights about Vasion's offerings.
- Meet or exceed challenging monthly demo quotas and daily activity targets.
- Deliver compelling value propositions that resonate with potential customers.
- Utilize CRM systems to monitor and manage sales activities, ensuring accurate customer records.
- Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience in direct sales.
- Demonstrated success in surpassing challenging quotas or revenue targets.
- Willingness to travel 5%-10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in B2B, SaaS, or technology sector direct sales.
- Familiarity with CRM, sales engagement, and prospecting tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Self-driven with a strong desire to learn and excel in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight.
- Ability to identify and qualify sales opportunities in a competitive landscape.
- Results-oriented with a strong entrepreneurial attitude.
- Excellent presentation, communication, organizational, and time management skills.
- A growth mindset focused on building a career in technology sales.
