  • Court Filings: Prepare court filings, including making copies for filing, service copies, and preparing attorney service order slips, and file with various courts.

  • Discovery: Prepare and finalize discovery, including propounded and responses, to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Communication: Communicate with court staff regarding various issues, including scheduling and coordination.
  • Calendar Management: Maintain calendars to include coordination and scheduling of meetings, depositions, conference calls, and send calendar invites and reminders.
  • Trial Preparation: Prepare Trial Memorandum and calendar all appearances and deadlines.
  • Deposition Coordination: Schedule local and out-of-town depositions, schedule conference rooms, and coordinate court reporter and videographer.
  • Mediation Coordination: Coordinate Mediation dates.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to attorneys, including answering telephones, taking detailed messages, and providing follow-up and interaction with clients, outside counsel, and others.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal support role.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
