Position Overview: The Guest Services Representative plays a crucial role in welcoming visitors with warmth and professionalism, managing inquiries, facilitating check-ins and check-outs, and securing room reservations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist guests with efficiency, courtesy, and professionalism at all times
  • Uphold a high standard of service and hospitality
  • Address guest concerns or issues promptly and effectively, ensuring satisfaction in a timely manner
  • Process guest charges, collect payments, and adhere to all cash handling protocols
  • Manage guest mail and messages with respect for privacy and professionalism
  • Maintain knowledge of the hotel brand and various programs (travel initiatives, special promotions)
  • Communicate effectively with various departments and management regarding guest feedback and concerns
  • Respond swiftly to incoming calls, lobby visitors, and team members requiring front desk assistance
  • Possess comprehensive knowledge of hotel safety and emergency procedures

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, front-facing roles, or other guest-related positions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software applications
  • Prior experience in the hospitality sector as a front desk agent, hotel receptionist, or in guest services is preferred
  • Familiarity with brand or property-specific Property Management Systems (PMS), Quore, PBX, and other hotel-related technologies is advantageous
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, reasoning skills, and capacity to multitask while interacting with individuals under pressure.
