Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative at KJ's Market. As a key member of our sales and cash handling team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing cash and sales-related activities, and ensuring the security of our cash office and store funds.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Cash Handling: Process sales transactions, manage cash and credit transactions, and maintain accurate records of sales and cash handling activities.
  • Cash Office Security: Ensure the security of the cash office and store funds, maintain accountability standards of cashier tills, and ensure that all cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Cashier/Customer Service Clerk Performance Reports: Monitor and analyze sales and customer service performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and sales growth.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to customer inquiries and concerns, and resolve customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement, implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity, and monitor the effectiveness of new processes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or cash handling.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and customer service skills, ability to work well under pressure, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.
