As a key member of the Paragon Hotel Company, the Guest Services Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring exceptional service delivery while optimizing room revenue. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Front Office, which includes managing personnel, budget adherence, and financial oversight in alignment with company and brand standards.
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver efficient and courteous service to all guests.
- Direct and coordinate the daily functions of the Front Office.
- Implement and uphold the mission statement, values, and culture of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience supervising a team of at least three associates in a reputable hotel environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- At least two years of experience in the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Background in accounting is advantageous.
- Demonstrated professionalism, honesty, and trustworthiness.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Familiarity with Housekeeping and Food & Beverage operations is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Ability to perform essential life activities such as standing, lifting, bending, and communicating.
- Must be capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights up to 30 pounds.
- Flexibility to work long hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Strong supervisory skills, including interviewing, hiring, training, and motivating staff.
- Comprehensive knowledge of hotel operations, safety protocols, and guest service standards.
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members.
- Proficient in property management systems and other relevant technology.
- Capacity to multitask and maintain a service-oriented approach.
Essential Functions:
- Foster a cohesive team environment through effective hiring, training, and development.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and high morale among staff.
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, payroll, and inventory control.
- Ensure compliance with safety and security measures and emergency procedures.
- Respond to guest feedback and implement strategies for improvement.

Opportunities for growth within the organization may include advancement to Assistant General Manager or General Manager roles, contingent upon the successful development of team members.
