Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Carnegie House, a luxurious boutique inn in State College, PA. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a memorable stay.

Responsibilities
  • Provide superior guest services, including check-in/check-out, room assignments, and answering guest inquiries.
  • Process all payments and handle guest complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and hotel operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date on hotel policies, procedures, and services to provide informed and personalized recommendations to guests.
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year customer service experience; previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Computer experience preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.
  • Knowledge of local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele.
