We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Data Insights Specialist to join our team at International Vitamin Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in providing data-driven insights to support business decisions and drive operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Create and update weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting packages to measure operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Utilize various business tools, including Oracle, PowerBI, and Microsoft Excel, to collect, analyze, and interpret data related to KPIs, operational performance, and areas of opportunity.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain teams, to collect, analyze, and interpret data and present findings and recommendations.
- Process Improvement: Identify and address discrepancies in data or processes and drive corrective actions to ensure data integrity and improve operational efficiency.
- Reporting and Presentations: Develop and present clear and concise reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to leadership and other stakeholders.
- Executive Summaries: Build executive summaries for leadership, including KPI reporting, analysis notes of trends, and recommendations to address areas of opportunity.
- Process Documentation: Document processes through SOP or work instruction/job aid management to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or accounting and 3-5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Skills and Abilities: Strong analytic skills, understanding of economics, financial concepts, and Lean Manufacturing; ability to create and present well-developed presentations; strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook; very strong proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Oracle preferred.
- Personal Qualities: Strong written and oral communication skills, ability to handle detailed work accurately and quickly, comfortable working in production and warehouse environments, able to meet deadlines on multiple projects, and good interpersonal skills.
