Job Overview

SambaSafety is seeking a highly motivated and goal-driven sales professional to join our team as an Account Executive. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging with prospects to qualify them for the sale of our risk management software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Initiate telephone and email contact with potential prospects to qualify them for our software solutions.
  • Utilize sales enablement tools to maintain accurate account records and prepare regular forecasts on sales activities, pipeline, and expected deal closures.
  • Participate in sales and product trainings to develop necessary knowledge and skills.
  • Achieve key performance indicators on a daily basis to meet yearly sales quota.
  • Consistently meet lead turnaround and follow-up requirements to drive pipeline growth.
  • Successfully meet and/or exceed sales quota and qualify leads with the goal of determining if the prospect fits the buying criteria.
  • Self-generate a consistent pipeline of qualified deals and manage, track, and report all activities in Salesforce.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of SambaSafety's products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in sales development, sales, and/or marketing (Software as a Service a plus, but not required).
  • Hunger and interest to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Persistent in a professional manner and highly motivated, driven, and sales focused.
  • Aptitude to work in a collaborative environment and Salesforce.com CRM experience a plus.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • $70K base salary + commission target $70K (Target OTE: $140K).
