Job Overview:
Danny's Crane Inc is looking for a skilled and dedicated Class A or B Freight Operator to become part of our team.
In this position, you will be responsible for transporting goods between various locations, optimizing routes for efficiency, ensuring timely deliveries, and conducting regular vehicle inspections along with preventative maintenance.
The ideal candidate prioritizes safety and has a proven track record in truck operation.Key Responsibilities:
Transport goods from one location to another.
Conduct routine safety checks and preventative maintenance on vehicles.
Plan and execute the safest and most efficient travel routes.
Adhere to delivery timelines.
Follow all company policies and traffic regulations.
Required Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Freight Operator is preferred.
Possession of a valid commercial driver's license A or B (CDL).
Completion of a trucking school program is preferred.
Familiarity with GPS technology, CB radios, and Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL) systems.
Knowledge of all pertinent truck driving laws and regulations.
Clean driving history.
Ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
Willingness to undertake long-distance travel.
