Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Procurement Specialist. This role will be responsible for providing negotiated supplier pricing, MSRP, weights, and installation instructions for customer quotes on new and current purchase product.
Key Responsibilities- Interact with cross-functional teams, including Fleet Solutions, Industrial Products, and Engineering, to review and complete quote requests based on communicated timelines.
- Set up a database of specified items for future quotation and price analysis.
- Negotiate cost-effective decisions based on volumes or value-added services.
- Provide MSRP, weights, drawings, CAD, and installation instructions on purchase parts.
- Enter all details into the quote system.
- Follow through with suppliers to ensure capability and availability.
- Meet deadlines based on customer expectations, internal or external.
A Bachelor's degree or work experience in a business-related field is preferred. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable about the material flow from initial quotation to point of use at the installer. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Experience with spreadsheets and Outlook software is also required.
The successful candidate will be able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and prioritize accuracy. Physical and mental requirements include normal standing, bending, walking, and lifting in an office environment, as well as the ability to verbally communicate with individuals.
